My darling boy, I can hardly believe that you're already six years old. It feels like just yesterday when I held you in my arms for the first time, marveling at the tiny bundle of joy that you were. Six years ago, you came into our lives and filled our hearts with immeasurable love and happiness. Your birth was such an emotional one for me - just a day after my birthday and three days before the date I said goodbye to my mom forever, you are the reason why I LOVE March again. Now, here you are, growing into such an incredible young man right before our eyes, I can hardly believe how quickly your toddler years went by. As our third kiddo, you have brought a new kind of joy and excitement, adding even more love to our family. Your presence has been a blessing and a huge learning experience! I know the growing pains have been monumental but I hope you know that I'd gladly hold your hand and experience them again with you. Being your mom is an absolute joy to me - you are a constant reminder that all kids are different and I know being the only boy in this house sometimes makes you feel outnumbered - please remember, I am always on your team, buddy.
This year has been such a breakout year for you and I'm so proud of the growth you've had. I hope you feel proud, too. You have every reason to be. Kindergarten has been such a big adventure for you, hasn't it? From the first day of school to now, I've watched you blossom and thrive in ways I couldn't have imagined. One of the things that has always made you so unique in your last four years has been your love for superheroes. Spider-Man has been your go-to companion since you were just a little toddler, and now, Batman has joined your list of favorites. Your imagination is so BIG when you decide to go on countless adventures with your beloved heroes, and it's a joy to witness.
This year, despite the challenges that the world has thrown our way during the last several, we were finally able to celebrate your birthday with a big party surrounded by your kindergarten friends. Seeing the excitement on your face as you laughed and played with your friends filled my heart with pure joy. It was a reminder of just how loved you are by everyone around you.
I've also watched you grow in so many other ways. From learning to read and write to getting your first pair of glasses, you've embraced each new experience with courage and grace.
