Feels Like Monday, but it's Tuesday

I've noticed over the last few months that I really love taking videos. I love being able to go back and watch them, whenever I get sentimental and want to recap. As much as I resent modern technology, I love it just the same. My husband made a comment today, he said, "Leilani, our kids won't ever have to worry about not having enough baby photos or videos." I'm glad for that. It's important to have special moments recorded for generations to come.

Today was a normal day. I didn't talk to my mom, and that sort of bothered me. I like being able to talk to her everyday, but sometimes our schedules don't allow for that (and the time difference). Justin continues to clear Fort Stewart. It's crazy insane how many establishments and facilities he had to get that "stamp of clearance" from. I feel like a negligent fur mother! Cooper turned two years old on October 31st, and due to our hectic life lately, we spaced on making him an appointment. I really need to get that done, like yesterday!

To keep my mind calm, I've been researching a lot of home decor for our next house. I really want a "zen" room for myself. Somewhere I can go to get work done, blog, or just curl up and read a book. I've been on a chevron kick lately, and thanks to target, I found some awesome chairs!

I was able to get a look at these beauties in person. So much bigger than the picture shows. Ahh, I think I have also been persuaded into buying an artificial tree. I really wanted my kids to experience real, pine trees.. and I think once Ava bug is older, we will.. but for now, a 7.5 foot, Douglas fir tree will do! I saw it in the Christmas section of target! I am in LOVE! I'm just trying to decide when to buy it. Then things fall back to the move. No news today, hopefully tomorrow sheds some light on the situation.

Alright all, I'm off to study! This week marks the finals for a course of mine. Let's hope I pull through with an almost (if not perfect) grade.

Happy Monday!
