Cloth, Breast, and Baby wearing.

I have received almost a dozen emails, facebook messages, and calls asking me about cloth diapering and how it's been going. With everything going on in my life, I have spaced with answering a lot of questions and I apologize! We are done with our cloth hiatus, and I love it. Justin has been super, super great with our diapering methods. I think he's done every step of cloth diapering. Washing, drying, folding, and diapering our lover bug.

My current favorites

Fuzzibunz perfect size

We have only used rock n green and we love it!

Cloth wipes
I bought a few dozen from green mountain diapers, and they work great. I recently ordered some from a fellow Army wife. Here is the link to her facebook business page. If you cloth diaper, it makes sense to use cloth wipes. No chemicals on baby. All you need is water.

As of right now, I just dunk bug's diapers. I expected to be in complete shock from the poop change due to Ava eating solids, and I am pleased to say, it is nothing like I thought it would be. We have kushies liners that I've had since before she was born; I have found that I actually don't need them. Right now we are sitting at just over 450 dollars spent on Ava's diapering investment. I have over 48 diapers, 8 diaper covers, and that is more than enough to get us through our lover bug's diapering phase. I am so proud of myself! I have definitely stayed under budget, and found which diapers work best for each stage of our daughter's life thus far.

I still breastfeed, and we baby wear religiously. We did introduce a sippy cup (just for juices), but Ava really has no interest in that cup at all. I have had no issues with breastfeeding, it actually forces me to be a healthier person. I watch what I eat, I drink water more than any other fluid, and I don't overdue myself (fear of altering my milk supply). I really want to breastfeed for 15 months. Nursing has become such a comfort for Ava, and I don't want to take that away from her cold turkey.

The past seven months I have worked on strengthening a bond with my child, and it has been nothing short of a blessing. Justin and I can feel that she trusts us. She's content, and happy almost always. I can't tell you how good it feels to have this happy, smiley, beautiful baby. With the exception of teething, and a tired baby, fussing is always at an all time low for us. With my moby wrap, any fussing that occurs, comes to end within minutes anyhow. I love how much Ava bug loves being wrapped. Her daddy wraps her too, it's just a great way to connect with your kiddos. I don't want to dig too much into how our little lover has been, so look out for her seven month post in just a couple days!

I kind of got off topic, this was suppose to be primarily for cloth. For all my girlfriends who have asked, here you go! Also, I will be making a vlog of our cloth system this week, and an updated video of what's in a cloth diapering mama's diaper bag!

Happy Sunday all!
