I can't believe it's only Wednesday! It's definitely been a busy week so far. This morning Ava bug and I said "see you later" to her daddy for a little while, and mommy has set some natural goals while Papa bear is gone.
A lot of my readers know that I'm trying to incorporate natural and organic methods into my household. This includes everything from what we eat, to what kinds of products we use around the house. The health aspect of our journey is looking rather bright and promising, so I thought I'd take these next two weeks to explore some of the other areas of natural living. One of the things I plan on changing this week are my household cleaners. I normally use method, but I stumbled across a brand called Branch Basics (thank you Mama Natural) and I think I am in love.

With a mobile nine month old, and a growing family, this definitely caught my eye. As much as I love method, they still include a few warning labels. I don't want to take the risk of Ava getting a hold of a cleaner that isn't completely safe. Another thing I'm in the process of changing is the type of soap we use. I decided to use an organic olive oil soap. I'm hoping that my skin thanks me for this switch!

One of the final things I plan on incorporating into our home is more coconut oil. Yes, we use this product for Ava's bum and for cooking our meals, but I plan on kicking the coconut oil in high gear. I'm realizing just how vital it is to take care of our bodies. Not just the exercise or the eating, but preventing toxins from building up on our body's largest organ, our skin. I plan on "oil pulling" each day, and I'm excited to see my results with that.

I'm really excited to see what benefits these "natural" changes bring to my home. I'm even more excited to see how well Justin adjusts to some of the changes I plan on making. We've noticed such a significant change in demeanor since we started this natural and green lifestyle. We are happier, we feel better, and overall, we are helping out our planet. If any of my readers use any green or natural products in their home, I'd love to hear about them. Feel free to leave comments on this post, or shoot me an email at:

Happy Wednesday all!
