This past Saturday, my mom's baby brother unexpectedly died. He was 47 years old. The same age my mom was when she passed.
It's absolutely surreal. Losing people you love. Losing people who knew you before you knew you... I just can't make sense of this. In my head, I just can't imagine that my Uncle is gone. I keep thinking people are playing some cruel joke.. but when reality sinks in, I know they are not. My Uncle. The most god-fearing, brave, and caring dude there ever was. Whenever I needed prayer or just a pick-me-up call, he was the person I was calling. He loved my kids, adored my husband, and absolutely gave me so much support whenever I found myself missing my mom. His humility and faith could not be matched and I know this world won't be the same without him. I won't be the same without him.
