My baby AND giveaways!

Man, teething is just god awful. Ava has been going to bed earlier than usual, and last night she woke up crying (never happens). She has these two teeth on her bottom gums that haven't cut, and this experience has been a nightmare! I feel so bad for our little girl. Teething tablets are a god sent right now. After we give them to her, the tears clear up quick. I'm really glad these continue to work. We've also reached a point where Ava will not eat her food. This is puzzling, as she has never had an issue with eating her food before. I don't know what the cause is, and she's not sick or anything. A lot of the information I have read chalks this behavior up to teething. Gosh, I can't wait for her teeth cut already. I think we are going to try giving her stage two foods here in a couple weeks. I'll make them at home, but follow other manufacturer consistencies and guidelines. It's weird to think that in just a month's time Bug is going from supported sitter food, to just sitter food.

Before we left Georgia, I opted not to get Ava's six month vaccinations because she was sick. As of today she still hasn't been vaccinated, and I'm debating whether I want to take her in or not. I did make her an appointment here in Texas, it's in a couple weeks... it's just a well baby, but I guess I'll end up deciding then about the vaccinations. Oh, just a little information for my fellow military families, getting your healthcare info switched over to a new region or new Primary Care Manager isn't hard at all. I had Ava bug and I switched in just 24 hours. Calling DEERS first made everything super easy. Once you change all your information with DEERS, it updates all the other military databases. After changing our information over, I was transferred to Tricare to get a new Primary Care Manager for Ava and I. The phone call itself was less than 10 minutes!

I'm so ticked with UPS this evening. Since moving to Texas we have had all kinds of issues with actually receiving our packages. First it was Ava's toy box, now it's Ava's ergo baby carrier, and toys. I know they are backed up due to the holidays, but why scan our package and say you delivered it, when you didn't? I don't know what's wrong with me, but I actually started crying when I was on the phone with UPS. Justin looked at me with one of those.. is Aunt Flo here type looks. I don't know what's going on with my emotions lately, but they are definitely out of whack. I can't wait to get back home. I never had to order anything online in Washington. The store I was ordering from was always in driving distance to me.

On a happier note, I am starting to love co-bathing again. Since Bug was born we have dabbled with co-bathing on and off. Justin even feels comfortable enough to bath with bug. Since moving, I haven't really dug Princess A's bath out of the box, so for the past few weeks she has been showering with me or Justin and I love it. Tonight she did something really sweet, she lifted her hands to feel the water then she squealed and flopped her head down on my shoulder and stayed there. It was super precious, and I couldn't help but smile. I'm extremely pleased with our attached parenting methods. I actually just teamed up with ergo baby to do some sponsored reviews and giveaways. I have been talking to a rep from their company for about a week. They had to verify that I had actually purchased a carrier and or accessories through them, and I had to present blog information and a bio about my parenting choices, and now it looks like we are a go! I'm actually really excited about this because I am passionate about baby wearing and attached parenting. Let's hope I fall in love with this manufacturer's carrier. I've never done any type of giveaways on my blog, actually ever, so it'll be a fun way for me to connect with my readers.

If you are interested in seeing more giveaways geared toward natural mama's, attached parenting, etc. Definitely let me know. I think I could have fun expanding my blogs capabilities!

Happy Friday all!
